Wild Reverence – Book Review

Wild ReverenceWild Reverence by Rebecca Ross
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After reading other books by Rebecca Ross I knew I was in for something beautiful. I wasn’t wrong.

Rebecca’s writing is as inventive as it is poetic. Her imagining of the world of the divines, both the underground and the sky gods, is beautiful and original with touches of Chinese mythology intermingled with Scandinavian lore (I love that).

Of course, as a lover of the underdogs, I love the fact that both Matilda and Vincent are the ones that nobody thinks will amount to anything only to prove everyone wrong.

And their love… swoon!

Rebecca Ross writes the most beautiful and romantic love scenes I have read in a long time. She makes a physical act read like a truly transcending moment of pure love…thank you for proving to me that it can be done.

Love to get to know how the myth of Enva started and how the enchanted typewriters were made (nice touch) but what I loved the most, I think, is the idea that love can and does change people and that with it you can make almost anything happen.

Loved it. Highly recommend it.
