Hello and welcome. I’m Natalina Reis, a writer, and this is my personal blog.

I wrote my first romance at the age of 13 in collaboration with my best friend, Susana. Since then I have written in other genres, but romance is first and foremost in almost everything I writes (I so love a good love story). I’m the author of seven romance novels that reflect the amazing diversity of humankind and the universal power of love.

After earning a degree in tourism and foreign languages, I worked as a tourist guide in my native Portugal (it’s beautiful. You should visit) for a short time before moving to the United States. I lived in three continents and a few islands, and my knack for languages and linguistics led me to a master’s degree in education. I now live in Virginia where I’ve been teaching English as a Second Language to elementary school children for along time.

I don’t believe anyone can have too many books or too much coffee. Art and dance make me giddy and I’m pretty sure I could survive on lobster and bananas alone. When I’m not writing or stressing over lesson plans, I share my life with my husband and two adult sons.

This is my space to write about the writing craft and business, but also to tell you my thoughts on some of the issues that are important to me, including feminism, diversity, music, good books, and pretty much anything that captures my interest.

I love hearing from my readers and followers, so please don’t be shy 🙂

  1. Superb blog you have here but I was curious if you knew of any community forums that cover the same topics talked about in this article? I’d really like to be a part of online community where I can get suggestions from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Kudos!
