I’m not going to lie; I am totally invested in this series already. It has everything I normally crave for in a fantasy: great characters (both likable and not), great drama and intrigue, mystery and the promise of magic, and of course romance. I loved ACOTAR and I have great hopes for this series. I was a bit thrown off at the end (no spoilers) and I have a feeling that issue will come up again in subsequent books, but what a great and satisfying ending for a first book of a series. Thank you, Ms. Maas, you have given me many wonderful reading (listening) moments.
