I don’t normally read nonfiction but when someone recommended this one I decided to give it a chance.
All in all it’s a good and enjoyable read with a lot of excellent advice. My only gripe with the content is that even though she was obviously a fighter who wouldn’t take no for an answer and managed to somehow always figure it out, the truth is that she was also in a position that allowed her certain opportunities that most of us can only dream of. She had connections in the entertainment industry and knew all the right people in the right places.
For us common folk this is not reality.
So yes, good advice, entertaining writing, and excellent motivational push but in the end, for most of us this might as well be fiction.
Impressive accomplishments though. Kudos.
