Hate

Being a writer of romance (among other things) I just couldn’t help falling in love (hate?) with this poem written by fellow blogger, John White. Enjoy.

John White's avatarDoubleU = W

I hate that you own that part of me

I hate that I can’t break free of you

I hate your eyes – they entrap me

I hate your smile – it melts me

I hate your voice – it soothes me

I hate your presence – it haunts me

I’d hate you if I didn’t love you
